Introduction

Imagine an elected official who truly cares about the people he serves and wants to give back to the community. An elected official who believes that the privilege of helping others is the formula for a successful life. An elected official who believes that we deserve more from our government.

Meet Lou Desso, candidate for re-election to the Rensselaer County Legislature.

As a member of the North Greenbush Town Board, I have helped bring stability and progress to a town divided by years of political battles. I made special efforts to work with residents from all walks of life and all political parties, to bridge gaps and create a new positive direction.

Now, with our country facing challenges and tough choices, I am ready to continue my commitment to fair decisions and bi-partisan solutions to Rensselaer County government. I believe it is time for our government to unite and work for the best possible outcome for all of us.
